John H. Tucker, D.M.D. has maintained a private practice in Erie, Pennsylvania, since 1982. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He has completed the Boston Seminars in Implant Dentistry with Dr. Paul Schnitman, the University of Buffalo Esthetic Dentistry Program, and all levels of the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, and the University of Buffalo Patient Mastery Program. In 2005 he was awarded a Certificate of Proficiency in Esthetic Dentistry from the University of Buffalo.
He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Society of Osseointegration. Dr. Tucker has Mastership status in the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics and a Fellowship in the International Academy for Dental-Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Tucker has lectured throughout the nation regarding dental implants and prosthetics and published numerous related articles. He has worked as a consultant for Dentsply, ESPE, Kerr, Henry Schein, Nierman Practice Management, Pristine Medical Billing, SleepTest.com, Vatech America, Respire Medical, Rhinomed, OSA University, and Kettenbach.
Dr. Tucker has a particular interest in the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. As a Diplomate of The American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, he is exceptionally qualified to manage this severe problem with Oral Appliance Therapy. In 2021, he was the first dentist to be credentialed by Inspire Medical Systems regarding Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulation. Dr. Tucker was appointed an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in February 2022.
Jeffrey S. Hindin, D.D.S is graduate of SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, the Buffalo VAMC residency program and The Brookdale Hospital/NYU Maxi Course in Oral Implantology, and practices general dentistry with an emphasis on the treatment of craniofacial pain, TMD and sleep disorders. Dr. Hindin has developed a system of instrumentation to monitor HRV and ANS balance and add a new level of understanding and care for patients with airway disorders in the medical or dental office. The HindexRV® system produces objective data on the physiological effects of altered jaw position, tooth positioning and other dental procedures. He is conducting clinical research into the relationship between performance, splint therapy, physiological function and heart rate variability and has authored numerous articles and most recently is a co-author of the Proof of Concept Study of an Oral Orthotic to Reduce Tic severity in Chronic Tic Disorder and Tourette Syndrome published in Child Psychiatry Hum Dev. 2021 May 6 and The Use of Heart Rate Variability and Physiologic Parameters in Orthotropic and Orthodontic Treatment published in The Journal of Airway, Gnathologic Orthopedics and Facial Orthotropics Vol. 38, No. 3 September 2021. Dr. Hindin is active in many professional societies including Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and is a founding board member of the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry and the Foundation of Airway Health. Dr. Hindin has lectured internationally.
